Who Am I

I was born in Colombia, into a big, close-knit family full of stories, intense emotions, and unspoken truths. My mother emigrated first, looking for a better future for her children. I followed when I was eleven. Later she married a Spanish man, and I had to adapt not only to a new country, but to a new culture, new dynamics… and new ways of loving.

I grew up watching, absorbing, holding everything together. I saw what it meant to give everything — and be betrayed. I saw the same story repeat itself, as if someone had written the script long ago. For years, I didn’t understand why.

Until I came across Bioneuroemotion®, and with it, the questions I needed. I learnt that not all pain begins with us — but we can be the ones to break the cycle. That not everything we carry is ours. And that healing isn’t about forgetting — it’s about understanding, and choosing differently.

I’ve lived through loneliness, disconnection, and emotional overwhelm. I’ve raised my children far from my culture, my language, my support network. I’ve tried to be strong, when all I really wanted was a hug.

But I’ve also experienced introspection, renewal, and the freedom that comes from choosing myself. I’ve learnt not to carry what isn’t mine. Not to live out of guilt or duty. To stop fixing others, and start embracing myself.

That’s why I created ABONOM. Not as a project, but as a space — real and human. A place to breathe, to release, to feel, to embrace. To reconnect with yourself — without pressure, without judgement, without masks.

"Because sometimes, all we need to begin again is for someone to truly listen."
